Hey there,
Every school year is a little like a new year. New beginnings, new routines - or old routines to rediscover. I’m trying to get back to our pre-summer routine, and as the weather starts to cool down, I’m focusing again on exercising and running and writing more.
Beyond that, I have been thinking about a lot of things and writing about some.
Here’s a collection of what I was musing about, that will go perfectly with your coffee. Again, showing reading time to make the right choice.

Love Letter to The One, I Couldn’t Save (4 min read)
This is an older piece, but I can’t write about this anymore. A love letter to my dad - whom I lost 20 years ago. 10th September marks the anniversary, and no matter how many years pass, it’s still hard.
For cappuccinos, mochas and americanos
Relationships Only Work if The Man is the More Interested of the Two (6 min read)
I posted this last week too, but I got a lot of views on this one, with tons of comments - accusing me of promoting archaic values and telling me how bitter I am, which is the reason for my relationship frustrations. Well… I don’t see it that way, but just as I am allowed to express my opinion, so do my readers.
I’ve Had Enough of Tough Love (6 min read)
We receive tough love from so many places. This piece is about how my friend believes that showing she cares has to be about being brutally honest and tough with me. Needless to say, I don’t agree.
Not Everyone Can Afford a High-Value Person Like Me (7 min read)
That sounds so big-headed. But it’s not. It is about knowing and recognizing your value and not selling yourself short.
For café lattes, frappucinos and Irish Coffees
Let’s Face It: You Don’t Deserve Anything From Life… (8 min read)
We misuse the word “deserve”. As if it was some magic spell of entitlement. But in fact, it doesn’t mean a thing if it’s not backed up by an internal conviction.
My Complicated Abortion (10 min read)
This was one of the essays I published with Human Parts. And it just got actual again, as Hungary introduced the Heartbeat law which declares that women who want to have an abortion MUST listen to the heartbeat before they can carry on with the already complicated procedure. It is barbaric, harmful and straight-up cruel. Yeah, you have guessed it, I am pro-choice. And this is my story, where I chose to listen to it anyway, and it was traumatizing enough being my choice.
Manifesting and The Hidden Logic of Illogical Things (10 min read)
Manifesting has a really ambivalent reputation. I think it is misunderstood because it’s overhyped. This one isn’t about promoting manifestation per see, but to shine a light on how life isn’t logical the way we understand the logic.
That’s all for today. Have a good morning, enjoy your coffee. Thank you for reading and indirectly supporting my work. It means a lot.
Thank you, much love,
Zita
I love to see you in person I love to marry you
